Class 103(2) A car-roof rack for holding fishing-rods, &c., comprises a rigid framework 1 which supports a U-shaped rest or sling 2 for the rod and is adapted to be retained in position on the roof of the car by cords or straps 7, 9 having clips 6 for engaging the roof guttering, the rod being secured in the rest 2 by a detachable rubber band 3 which engages rigid projections 4 on the pillars of said framework. Preferably there are two such racks, one at the front and the other at the rear of the roof.
