Class 20(2) [Also in Group XXV] Shuttering for casting concrete is held in place by a pigtail anchor 10 cast in a previous course on which is screwed a bolt 6 having an adjusting nut 12, with an operating handle 25, bearing on or fixed to a plate 11 on the outer side of a strong back 7 carrying the shuttering panel 7SP1/SP. The bolt 6 may be adjusted by means of a spanner after a closure 28 has been swung aside. The plate 11 is secured to the strong back by nail 35 and the nut 12 may be accommodated in a slot in the plate which is provided with inclined ribs on each side engaged by the nut so that the nut and the bolt may be moved to engage anchors 10 at different angles. The inclination of the shuttering is adjusted by a jack 14.
