An endless track for a vehicle comprises transverse bars 6 and longitudinal reinforcing wires 7 encased in an elastomeric material, e.g. rubber, which is formed with transverse external shoulders or ribs 5 and inwardly directed projections 12 which may have stepped portions 14 or concave surfaces for engagement with the treads of tyres of different sizes. The bars may be in two portions 6a and 6b riveted together, clamping the reinforcing wires therebetween or the bars and the wires may be held together by the rubber. In the longitudinal direction, the track comprises three parts, 1a 1b and 1c between which and the transverse parts are spaces 10. At the ends of the track, the wires 7 are looped around sleeves 8 which are bolted to complementary lug members 17 and 18 pivoted together by bolts 19. In a modification, Fig. 7, the wires 7 are connected to anchoring heads retained in cast-in jointing plates 20, which may be made in one piece or in two parts riveted together, holes 24 being provided for bolting to the connection members 16. The track may be used with a tractor having wheels 2, 3, Fig. 1, on each side, or on a tractor wherein the track is driven by a rubber cog-wheel.
