927,220. Indicating-apparatus. W. H. JOENS & CO. G.m.b.H. April 25, 1960 [June 25, 1959], No. 14349/60. Class 106 (4). Indicating-apparatus, in which a set pointer 6 indicates the value to which a variable is to be regulated, comprises a horizontally arranged programme disc 8 co-operating directly with a sensing pin 11 carried by the pointer 6. Applied to electronic apparatus for regulating temperature mounted in a carriage 2 slidable in a housing 1, the transparent plastic programme disc 8 is mounted on the underside of the carriage 2 for rotation by a synchronous motor 9 which also rotates a small drum 14 which displays a reduced representation of the programme through a window 15. A knob 13 is provided for the initial adjustment of the disc 8. The pointer 6 carries two high-frequency coils 7 between which extends a damping lug provided on a temperature-indicating pointer 4 for producing regulating pulses in accordance with the relative positions of the pointers 4, 7.
