The production of cerium (iv) molybdate, tungstate and vanadate

Cerium IV molybdate, tungstate or vanadate are produced by precipitation from a solution containing tetra valent cerium in an acid medium preferably nitric acid and sodium or ammonium molybdate, tungstate or vanadate respectively. During or immediately after precipitation the pH is adjusted to 1.0-1.6, 0.8 or 1.2 for the production of cerium molybdate, tungstate or vanadate respectively.
