An antiserum containing Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin-antibody for use in immunological pregnancy tests is produced by injecting an animal with H.C.G. in an oily adjuvant on two or three occasions three to six weeks apart at a dose level below 1000 1u/Kg body weight, collecting the blood from the animal one to three weeks after the last injection and separating the antiserum.
