Prilled ammonium nitrate, explosives containing it, or other materials are reduced in size during passage through a jet-type pulverizer (see Division B2) for loading into boreholes in mining operations. A pneumatic loader operating at 70-75 p.s.i. air pressure is secured to the inlet and a loading hose to the outlet of the pulverizer.
