A piggery designed for farrowing purposes comprises one or more pens each made up of side walls 6 and partitions 7, 8, 9 and 9SP1/SP, the partitions 8, 9SP1/SP being fixed in position when the pen is occupied whilst the partition 7 is selectively positionable at locations 20SP1/SP, 20SP11/SP by attachment means which also permit selective angular movement about a horizontal or vertical axis. The partitions 7, 8 are supported above the level of the ground to give a free run to the piglets and when the partition 7 is disposed at the location 20SP1/SP to give an enlarged run to the sow the gap thereunder is closed by the partition 9 being disposed adjacent thereto.
