[Also in Division B7] To limit the tension in a strap, one of its connections is formed by a peg engaging a hole in the strap, so that tension above a predetermined value causes the strap to tear. The peg has a bar (i.e. it is T-shaped) to retain the strap. The strap, which is of woven material, is used with an ejection seat in an aircraft, to pull a seat occupant's legs towards the seat during ejection.
