[Also in Division E2] The bridge of a travelling crane, which carries rails supporting a crab, is held in alignment with side rails by bolts 14 projected and retracted by a reversible electric motor 30 into and out of engagement with fixed guides 16. The bolts are supported on the bridge by a frame 10, 11, 12 and moved by worm and nut mechanisms 21 and levers 17 pivoted at 18. Compression springs are provided between each side of the nuts and the respective ends of the nut boxes to cushion the mechanism in the event of jamming occurring. The invention may be applied to other mobile structures which carry tracks.
