[Also in Division F2] A clock drive mechanism, similar to that described in Specification 632, 264 comprises a vibrating reed mounted on a frame 20, the frame being secured to a plate 26 fixed in the clock housing by three vibration isolating mountings 25. Each mounting consists of a helical spring 36 having a natural vibration frequency lower than the vibration frequency of the reed. The springs are secured by threaded bolts 30 which screw into boxes 31 of the frame 20 and stops 35 limit the displacement of the frame with respect to the plate.
