An insecticidal or acaricidal composition comprises as active ingredient a compound of the general formula in which R 1 is C 1 -C 6 alkoxy which may be halogen-substituted or C 1 -C 4 alkylamino or dialkylamino, R 2 is C 1 -C 4 alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino or dialklyamino or phenyl and X is O or S, and a solid or liquid diluent or carrier or a liquid carrier containing a surface-active agent. The composition may be in the form of a solution, emulsion, suspension, powder, paste or granulate.
