[Also in Division A1] A distributer of liquid ammonia comprising a closed chamber consisting of a cylindrical wall 1, a base-plate 2 and a top plate 3, an inlet port at 9 for the liquid ammonia and at least two outlet conduits 10 and 11, is characterized in that a baffle plate 18 is disposed above the end of the conduits and extends downwardly towards the base plate 2 thus substantially enclosing the conduits and shielding them from direct spray from the inlet port at 9. Each conduit is provided with an identical aperture pattern 16 and 17 so that an equal quantity of liquid will enter all the outlet conduits.
