[Also in Division E1] A method of moving a building from one site to another consists of erecting therebeneath a load-bearing, reinforced concrete framework A of grid construction ASP1/SP, ASP2/SP which is supported by jacks on reinforced concrete beams B with the interposition of roller carriages, metal tracking and separating plates as necessary, see also Figs. 2, 3 and 4 (not shown). Horizontal advancement is effected by jacks or cables and pulleys and the framework A forms the new foundation when the building is re-sited. For method of erecting the framework A and beams B and minor modifications concerning the jacks and track the Specification, together with Specifications 599,317, 827,837 and 827,838 should be referred to.
