STOP ARRANGEMENT FOR LIMITING THE TENSIONING OF THE DRIVE SPRING OF A FUZE CLOCKWORK-MOVEMENT

A mechanical time fuze for a projectile having an arrangement for limiting the tension applicable to the drive spring of a clockwork movement comprises a rotatable fuze setting means 2 having a stop 10 a series of independently rotatable coaxial members 3, 4 and 5 each having a stop 8 and a rigid stop 9 on a fuze body 1 rotation of the means 2 bringing the stop 10 into engagement with stop 8 of member 3 whereby the member 3 is rotated and causes subsequent consecutive rotation of each of the remaining coaxial members as their stops 8 mutually engage, further rotation of the coaxial members being prevented when the stop 8 of the last member 5 engages the rigid stop 9.
