Sealant compositions (I) suitable for anaerobically bonding metal surfaces and having long shelf life, despite presence of polymerisation initiator (III), based on monomeric polyacrylate esters (II) formed from organic polyisocyanates (IV). (II) generally has at least two divalent urethane or ureide groups linking the terminal acrylate radicals and of formula where X = -O-, -N-; R = H, alkyl (C = 1-7); A = organic residue of acrylic ester A-X-H (which may be methyl, ethyl or halogen homologue); n = 2-6; B = alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkaryl, heterocyclic radicals (subs. and unsubs.).
