Pyrotechnic mixtures from spent - ammonia synthesis catalyst

Oxygen doners are mixed with oxygen acceptors. Used N-inactivated catalyst contains 90% Fe and oxides of gps. I, II and III, and is used as the acceptor. Pref. the donors are chlorates or perchlorates, and if necessary other oxidizable materials, e.g. C, S, Al, Mg and/or flame-colouring materials, are added. Catalyst grain size after inactivation is milled to 0.1 mm, pref. 0.03 mm.
