Unwinding mechanism for ward thread in weaving looms

Unwinding device for warp thread in a weaving loom includes a deviation organ for the warp thread which is mounted for oscillation on a support outside the beam, at least one practically constant force acting on the deviation organ and producing tension in the warp thread. The support for the deviation organ and the beam comprises a common rotational axle, which is connected by command means to turn reciprocally and desmodromically after the consumption of the warp thread. The device enables a constant tension to be obtained in the warp thread during unwinding while the loom is operating, although the diameter of the beam is varying during the weaving operation. In addition, the warp thread can be unwound even when the loom is stopped by use of the command means.
