摘要
1,198,331. Printing-apparatus. G. RITZERFELD. 15 Dec., 1967 [16 Dec., 1966], No. 57171/67. Heading B6C. [Also in Division B4] Apparatus for the duplication of whole pages, lines or portions of text from a printing plate 101, Fig. 2, mounted on a cylinder 100 on to a card or ticket 64 of the type in which information to be recorded, e.g. by punching, on the card 64 is also carried by a perforated data carrier sheet 1 which is fed through a reading device 133, is characterized in that the reading of the data on the sheet 1 by the device 133 is controlled in dependence on the recording of previously read data on the records by the record station. The information read by the device 133 is fed to a punching station 126 via a decoder 135 and a store. The cards 64 control feed members of the reading device by means of switches such as 131 fitted in the path of the cards and the data on the carrier corresponding to each printed record is read by the reading station and fed to the punching station directly or via decoders or intermediate stores. The feed members for the carrier in the reading device. Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown), are identical with those disclosed in Specification 1,198,333. The punching machine 126 may be replaced by a mechanical, electrical, optical, or magnetic recording device and such a device may be used to record the initial data on the carrier. Punching - apparatus.-Energization of an electromagnet 83, Fig. 11, causes a pawl 87 to engage a notch 89 in one of a series of fourteen punch rods 63, which rod is thus locked. An intermediate punch 90 fitted in the lower portion 91 of the rod 63 stops above one of the hole punches 92 carried in a plate 93 and by control means, not shown, a stamping plate 94, once all the rods 63 have been set, drives the punches 92 against spring pressure, via the intermediate punches 90 so as to perforate the card 64 on the cutting plate 96. The control circuitry for the punching machine is depicted in Fig. 12 (not shown), the magnet 83 being associated with detector brushes (5a-5d), Fig. 9 (not shown), under the control of cams 84 and switches 85. The punch rods 63 are moved in the direction C against spring pressure by a guide 76, a feed link 74, a control lever 69 and a cam 66 which is engaged by a roller 70, the cam 66 being driven by worm gear 67, 68. The cards are transported between the printing machine and the punching apparatus by means 104, 105 and 117-120, Fig. 2.
