Die casting mould with re-entrant shaped wall sections

Die-casting die with internal re-entrant wall sections consists of two mould halves, each of which comprises several plates which are aligned relative to each other and also are connected to each other but can be disconnected. Furthermore internal protrusions are fitted into one mould half, vertical to the relative movement of the halves. The protrusions open and close depending on the movement of the mould halves and each has a hole, which is inclined relative to the movement of the mould halves a peg being fitted into the opposite mould half which fits into this hole. - The pegs ensure that the mould halves are moved away from each other after casting at the correct angle for the protrusions to disengage.
