The press consists of a multi part press frame surrounding a pressure vessel. - The frame section below the vessel is formed by a rectangular pressure carrier, with saw tooth like transverse profiles on its two opposite sides. - Positioned above the filling aperture of the vessel is a cross head, which has a central bore with an inserted pressure member, and similar transverse profiles. - Cross head and carrier are connected by tension plates, which also have corresponding profiles. - A base section is connected to the lower end of the vessel, the cylinder bore of which contains a separating piston. - Additional pressure elements act on all sections. - The isostatic press if formed in safety construction, to compress powdered materials into blanks of any shape.
