1290528 Glass composition PILKINGTON BROS Ltd P S IRLAM and B YALE 21 July 1970 [28 July 1969] 37862/69 Heading C1M A glass composition comprises in mole per cent 62-75 SiO; 7-11 ZrO 2 ; 13-23 R 2 O; 1-10 RSP1/SPO; 0-4 Al 2 O 3 ; 0-6 B 2 O 3 ; 0-5 Fe 2 O 3 ; 0-2 CaF 2 ; 0-4 TiO 2 , where R 2 O represents any alkali metaloxide and RSP1/SPO any alkali earth metal oxide or manganese oxide or zinc oxide. A glass of this composition is used to make glass fibres suitable for use in a glass fibre reinforced cementitous product.
