A drying silo for fodder is subdivided into five vertical drying chambers which are charged from the top and discharged at the bottom. Drying gas can pass across them from perforated side walls. As the level rises, a distributor frame deck also rises; rakes can be reciprocated over the frame deck by ropes driven by a motor.
