Golf or hockey stick has an outer shell of thermally or catalytically hardened pref. epoxy or polyester resin, reinforced with pref. glass fibre fleece. The core is adhered to the shell and comprises foamed platics or asbestos fibres; in the region of the keel or bead of the stick it is denser than in the regions. They can be precision made and have more elasticity than prior art wooden sticks.
