A process for the recuperation of the lead - antimony alloy of accumulator scrap or other things, scrap, in particular for the construction of accumulators gratings

Alloy, esp. for production of accumulator grids, is recovered from accumulator scrap by direct treatment with Sb ore, pref. antimonite (Sb2O3) in recovery furnace. Alloy with high Sb content is obtained. Direct process gives considerably saving in time and production costs, since ore is much cheaper than pure Sb.
