The invention comprises compounds of the general formula in which R is C 1 -C 4 alkyl, RSP1/SP is C 1 -C 4 alkyl or alkoxy, X is O or S and M is alkali metal. They may be obtained by reacting, preferably in a solvent and preferably at -10‹ to +50‹ C., a compound of the formula in which RSP11/SP is alkyl or aryl with an alkali metal alcoholate at -10‹ to + 50‹ C. The radical RSP11/SP is preferably methyl or ethyl. The compounds II can be obtained by reacting the corresponding O,O-dialkyl (thiono) phosphoric or O-alkylalkane (thiono) phosphonic acid hydrazide with an appropriate acetoacetic acid ester and the product may be reacted, without intermediate isolation thereof, with the alcoholate to form compounds I.
