Dung passage 1 and urine gutter 3 connected by longitudinal slot 4 are cleaned by scrapers connected to guide piece 9 and drawn in either direction by wires or chains 5 and 6. The dung scrapers 7 and 8 are pivoted on shaft 10, the urine scraper 12 is pivoted on shaft 13 passing through triangular plate 19 which passes through slot 14. The scrapers work when pulled to the left as illustrated but may operate in both directions towards a central transverse collecting gutter 14 not shown by reversal of the scrapers as the device crosses the collecting gutter.
