[Also in Division F2] A resilient mounting, for interposition between a frame structure 1, 2, e.g. of a vehicle chassis, and a body M, e.g. the engine of the vehicle, producing, or subject to, vibrations or shocks, comprises first, second, and third resilient elements 3, 4 and 8 mounted in series, the first 3 and third 8 elements being spring-like lugs having linear characteristics, and the second element 4 being fixed between the first and third elements 3, 8 and comprising a compressible cushion of elastomer. The resilient elements 3, 8 may be in the form of leaf springs. An engine body (N), Fig. 2 (not shown), is suspended from a frame structure (9) by means of four resilient mountings.
