Mould release agent - for polyester or polyether-urethanes consisting of a polyamide cocondensate soluble in lower alcohols

The moulds are coated first with a layer of paraffin wax (as a soln. in pet. ether, renewable after several mouldings) followed by a layer of the polyamide cocondensate as a soln. of 3 parts solid in a mixture of 75 parts alcohol and 10 parts methylene chloride. The latter layer is applied after every moulding, dries very quickly and allows increased production rates. The moulded articles (usually foams of the polyester or polyetherurethanes) can be stuck ot other parts or coated with lacquers without any further treatment, giving good adhesion.
