The polymers, with light crosslinkable gp. (1) bound to main chain by urethane bridge, are obtd. by Curtius rearrangement of monomers contg. (1) and carbonyl-azide gp. at 60-100 degrees C in the presence of pref. OH-contg. polymers with release of N2. The monomers are pref. azidosulphonyl- and azidocarbonyl substd. benzenes and the polymers cyclorubber or vinyl alcohol unit contg. polymers. The prods. are used as light-curable films on paper, metal, glass or plastics substrates.
