Continuous casting mould vibrator - with adjustable amplitude

The device consists of a continuously driven eccentric crank the oscillation of which is transmitted to the mould via a crank rod which engates one arm of a lever having two unequal length arms, the other arm of which is connected to the mould or mould table by a connecting rod. The lengths of the arms may be adjusted for alteration of the amplitude of vibration. Pref. the amplitude of vibration may be varied by altering the degree of eccentricity of the crank rod mounting in the crank. This may be effected by means of an eccentric bush the position of which in the crank is ajustable, between the crank and the crank rod.
