Constructional elements hardened by thermal treatment or steam-hardening incorporate as binder granulated blast-furnace and steel-making slags. The slags are milled together until specific surface is 3,500-4.500 cm2/g. and the binder contains 40-60% wt. of each of the slags, and opt. 5-10% wt. gypsum or anhydrite. The treated bricks have compression-resistance 172 kPa/cm2.
