Paper mouldings - prepd from shredded paper impregnated with pf or uf resin

Mouldings are prepd. from shredded paper impregnated with 7-40, pref. 8-20% P.F. or U.F. resin and opt. 0.2-2% paraffin, by applying heat and pressure. A decorative foil may be superficially applied. Required amount of impregnant is lower with use of paper than with prior art wood particles. Used in mfr. of interior fittings for motor cars, containers, toys, furniture packaging materials etc.
