1327514 Stranding machines WERKHUIZEN HUWAERT NV 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 24455/71 Heading D1T Portions 17, 18, 19 of a tubular stranding machine rotor (Fig. 1) are linked at 36 by means of resilient elements 33 (Fig. 2) bolted to the tube portions, and are each carried by a pair of ball or roller bearings 8, 9, 10, 11 surrounding them and located at sufficient distance from the adjacent portion ends for a wire or strand supply bobbin 21 to be mounted between the bearing and the portion end. The resilient links 33 transmit rotation from one portion to the next, but permit small axial misalignments.
