Bending thin sheet - using an elastic roller to vary the degree of bending

The sheet is bent between rollers, one of which is made of supply, elastic material while the other is made of undeformable material. The hard roller penetrates into the surface of the elastic roller causing bending of sheet material fed in between them. The position of the elastic roller can be varied to alter the pressure of penetration and thus the degree of bending of a particular sheet material. Obviates the necessity of stocking a large number of different roller sizes.
