Spindleless ringless spinning - with rotating supply package and drafting unit

The roving supply package and the double-apron drafting unit of a spindleless ringless spinning machine are both rotated to impart twist to the worsted or semi-worsted type yarn which is wound directly onto a cross-wound package or is coiled for further processing. Separate drives control the delivery speed and draft of drafting unit. Tension-free delivery is provided by the speed relationship between delivery rollers and winding spindle.
