Moulding dolls limbs - incorporating reinforcements suitable for support during moulding

Rigid reinforcing elements for dolls limbs injection moulded in e.g. flexible PVC where the reinforcing element ends in a yoke suitable for engagement by a retractable mould probe which aligns the element in the cavity prior to injection. After injection, the passage left by the retracted probe allows direct engagement with the reinforcement by struts on a base used to support the doll. The reinforcement can be made of a relatively rigid plastic and pref. incorporates a hinge to simulate knee or elbow joints and pref. ends in a forked plate which can engage with an 'H' section strut.
