1285237 Feeding and delivering sheets NIXDORF COMPUTER AG 24 April 1970 [28 April 1969] 19745/70 Heading B8R Cards are fed to and past a card-reading head 6, Figs. 1 and 2, and erasing head 7 of dataprocessing apparatus around a stationary gridlike drum having end plates 5, a shaft 8, spaced guide rings 2 on the shaft and longitudinal bars 9 spaced round the periphery. A plurality of two-armed deflectors 1 are pivoted on the bars 9. The cards are fed by a plurality of rubber or plastics guide rollers 3 and resiliently mounted metal counter-pressure rollers 4 mounted at an angle of 10 degrees to the guide roller and drum axes along a circular path bounded on the inside by the rings 2 and on the outside by the deflectors 1. The rollers 3, 4 may be relatively interchanged in position. When a deflector is moved to position 1SP1/SP by a magnet, it can admit a card to the path, and when a deflector is moved to position 1SP1/SP1 a card is ejected therefrom and can be sorted into receptacles. The cards are held against the adjacent plate 5 by the rollers 4.
