1311439 Foundry mould composition BUDERUS'SCHE EISENWERKE 9 July 1971 [24 July 1970] 32427/71 Addition to 1273203 Heading C3N A foundry moulding sand comprising sand, bentonite, water and a hydrocarbon oil as set out in the parent Specification 1,273,203 is modified in that the hydrocarbon oil has been partly polymerized. The bentonite and oil may be mixed in a weight ratio of 1 : 4 to 1 : 20. The oil may be introduced into the foundry sand together with the bentonite or after the addition of the bentonite. The polymerization of the oil is effected with the drying of the activated bentonite, preferably at a temperature of 130-140‹ C.
