1335751 Distribution frames INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 1 July 1971 [9 July 1970] 30892/71 Headings H1L and H1R [Also in Division H2] A distribution frame built up of a number of similar units each including a cable eye, an eye for supporting jumpering wires, a component sub-assembly and a comb shaped member, has the cable eyes of a plurality of units aligned with cables extending therethrough and jumper wires connected to terminals on a unit extend to their supporting eye via a comb. In the embodiment shown two units 2 are shown supported on verticals 15 of a rack. Each unit comprises two brackets 4 comprising cable eyes 6 and supporting two terminal or component assemblies 17 or 24. The two brackets of a unit are coupled by strips 10 which support wires 12 forming the jumper wire support eyes 13. Jumper wires 14 couple terminal assemblies 11 to subscriber assemblies 22 via plastics combs 16 and the eyes 13. The cables extend from the other side of the units via plastics combs 32 to the cable eyes 6 then upwardly and/or downwardly to the top or to the bottom of the frame.
