Intermediates isolated are BOC-met-gly-trpmet - asp - phe - NH 2 ; H - met - gly - trp - metasp - phe - NH 2 ; BOC - arg(NO 2 ) - asp(OB 2 )- tyr - NHNHCBO; H - arg(NO 2 ) - asp(OB 2 )- tyr - NHNHCBO.CF 3 COOH; BOC - asp(OB 2 )- arg(NO 2 ) - asp(OB 2 ) - tyr - NHNHCBO; BOC- asp - arg - asp - tyr - NHNH 2 ; BOC - asp - tyr- NHNH 2 ; BOC - asp - tyr - met - gly - trp - metasp - phe - NH 2 ; BOC - asp - arg - asp - tyr - metgly - trp - met - asp - phe - NH 2 ; BOC - ser(B 2 )- NHNHCBO; H - ser(B 2 ) - NHNHCBO; BOC - ile - ser(B 2 ) - NHNHCBO; BOC - ileser - NHNH 2 ; BOC - arg - asp - tyr - NHNH 2 ; and BOC - arg - asp - tyr - met - gly - trp - metasp - phe - NH 2 . Pharmaceutical compositions having cholecystokinin activity comprise a compound I together with a suitable carrier or diluent for parenteral administration.
