The appts. comprises a pair of half-moulds, one of which is flat while the other has channels at intervals to form the ribs and smaller ducts and an inlet duct leading to these channels. Specif. the half-mould surfaces may be curved, e.g. the half-moulds may form part of a continuous belt. The arrangement enables the spacing ribs of roof sheeting to be formed in one operation with the sheet itself.
