Profile strips with connectors are fitted on the side edges of a carrier fixed in the brickwork, and together with a cover profile, with coordinated connectors, which can be subsequently fitted on, form a closed frame. Pref. each profile strip forms a stripping edge for the plaster layer applied to the brickwork.
