Widths of fleece, partic very light fleece material, are treated to increase their firmness for further processing by spraying-on a binding agent to the loosely laid fleece and then drying it, after which the full quantity of binder is impregnated into the fleece or pressed onto it, and final drying is then effected, to be fed properly and fleece, partic lightweight fleece, to be fed properly and speedily through the treatment appts.
