The system can be emptied or filled simultaneously through a common stationary emptying/filling pipe to which each wagon can be coupled individually. The entire control system is assembled from pneumatic circuits and is controlled by full/empty sensors built into each tank wagon. The sensors are also of the pneumatic type. The valves for emptying/filling have an overriding manual control.
