Biological sewage treatment plant - with percolating filter filled with chopped rubber from used tyres

Used vehicle or cycle tyres are used, either whole or esp. cut into lengths of approx. 10 cm. In either case the specific area is 40-55 m2/m3 and the cavity volume is 80-90%. Method is cheap and highly effective, free from clogging and contributes to solution of the disposal problem for used tyres.
