An auxiliary voltage from supply (10) is brought to the adder circuit (11) of the integrating amplifier (1), the output voltage increasing with a velocity corresponding to the adjusted time constant. The output voltage is compared in comparison circuit (6), according to selection, with one of the voltages gained from the outputs (51 or 52) of the high-voltage rectifier, namely with the voltage indicating the d.c. output voltage value of the high-voltage rectifier (5) or with the standard d.c. voltage indicating the d.c. output current value of the high-viltage rectifier (5). The difference between one of these voltages and the output voltage from the integrating amplifier (1) is amplified by an operation amplifier and appears as output voltage at the output (64) of the comparison circuit (6).
