Casting appts - for maintaining constant metal temp adding inoculants and pouring

The appts. consists of an induction furnace which can pivot about an axis coaxial with the pouring hole. Metal from this hole, is passed into a covered recipient which can be centred directly above the hole in the mould and is of sufficient size to hold an exact quantity of metal for a time sufficient to carry out a given number of castings. Inoculants are added to the metal in this recipient. The whole appts. can be displaced orthogonally with respect to the recipient.
