The condensation is effected in the presence of a carrier which is the gas produced from the synthesis of ammonia, in the fresh or purged state, contg. 65-80% H2, or recycled gas contg. 40-60% H2. The catalyst is gamma-Al2O3 impregnated with B2O3 and the condensation is effected at 400-480 degrees C/0.5-6 atmos. press. wtih an aniline flow of 0.3-0.8 kg/l catalyst/hr. pref. 0.4 Kg/l catalyst/hr. and mol. ratio of aniline/OH3 synthesis gas of 1/4-10 pref.
