1317859 Lift truck mast assemblies BYGGOCH TRANSPORTEKONOMI (BT) AB 20 Aug 1971 39227/71 Heading B8H In a three-section mast assembly, the intermediate section is provided with at least one guide roller which engages both the inner and outer sections at least when the mast assembly is not extended. As shown in Fig. 7, each upright 11 of the intermediate section is provided with two rows of guide rollers 18, 19, each of which engages a groove 23 in the adjacent flange of the fixed, outer, upright 8 and a projecting flange 22 of the inner upright 14. The assembly is extended by means of a telescopic hydraulic ram 30, 31, 32, which is connected between upper and lower cross-members 16, 12 of the inner and intermediate mast sections and which is connected to a pressure fluid source by a supply pipe 33, and chains 35 secured to the upper end of the fixed mast section and to the lifting carriage 4 and passing around rollers 37, 38 on the intermediate and upper sections.
